  The caption on the back of the left picture was written by Katie Baxter (Bray) Flora. It reads: John Frost Sligo, N.C. My grandfather. Sarah Stevenson Frost his wife.
1.Charlie Crawford Frost - born Mar. 5, 1859 and died Nov. 4, 1926. He married Martha L. "Mattie" Nichols (surname could be Nicholas?) on June 6, 1880. 2. Mary Virginia Frost - born Aug. 24, 1861 and died June 20. 1933. She never married. 3. Ida Tabitha Frost - see her photo and details here. 4. Ella Victoria Frost - see her photos and details here. 5. Sarah Stevenson "Sallie" Frost - born July 6, 1868 and died Nov. 8, 1946. She married James Edmond H. R. Woodhouse on May 16, 1888. 6. Thomas Perkins Frost - born Sept. 8, 1870 and died as an infant on Sept. 4, 1871. 7. Annie May Frost - born May 4, 1876 and died May 26, 1935. She married Lloyd Curtis Baum on June 20, 1897. In 1860 John F. Frost and his wife, Sarah, were living in the Courthouse Dist. of Currituck Co. where his occupation was listed as a brick mason. In 1870, 1880 and 1900 they are living in Crawford Twp. (Powells Point P.O.) where John is listed as a farmer. |

John
F. Frost, son of Nathaniel Frost and Edna Fanshaw, was
born December 18, 1828 and died November 20, 1900. According to the
1900 census, he married Sarah Matilda Stevenson in 1858. Sarah
was born in Norfolk, Virginia on January 11, 1836 and died July 29, 1915.
