      McEACHERN, CONOLY

      John McEACHERN was born after 1780 in ? Cumberland Co., NC, and married Elizabeth CONOLY circa 1821. He was a soldier in war of 1812. They moved to Sumpter Co., GA in 1837 and on to Pike Co., AL in 1840. He was in the Pike Co., AL census for 1840. I think they had 8 children. I am looking for their descendants to complete a chapter in my work.

      Looking for Jessie Martin HALL born 10/1860 married to Jane Ellenn McKENZIE. Jessie vanished after the 1910 Us Census. Jane died in Cumberland County in 1922.       WEAVER

      I am seeking information on the parents of Eldridge WEAVER. He was born in November 1832 in Cumberland Co. and died in 1910 or 1911 in Wake Co. He married Lucretia CARTER on October 9, 1853 in Cumberland Co., but this may have been a second marriage: the 1850 federal census has him residing with what appear to be a wife named Mary and a 2-year-old daughter named Sarah C.       I am researching the family of William HOBSON (b.1813) who lived in the Wayne Co., N.C. area around 1850. I am descended through his son Lewis HOBSON (1838-1923) who moved into Cumberland Co., N.C. and eventually died in the Raeford area of Hoke Co., N.C. which had previously been part of Cumberland Co., N.C.       I'm looking for information on Neil CLARK, father of Malcolm CLARK. Neil was married twice. Once to a MCARTHUR, once to a Flora (or Mary) MCKETHAN. Neil had a son called Malcolm, born about 1790 in Harnett County, NC. Malcolm married Penelope "Penny" VAUGHN (a child of Gideon VAUGHN and Charity BABB, Penny was born in Wake County on February 18, 1836). Malcolm and Penelope had at least five children: Neil Penny CLARK, Daniel Vaughn CLARK, Charity Frances CLARK, Kate McPhail CLARK, and Stephen Gideon VAUGHN (perhaps an illegitimate son of Penelope). Malcolm and Pneleope both died in August 1865 in Cumberland County, NC.       Searching for info on William James YATES of Fayetteville; born Aug. 27, 1827; father, James; mother, Elisabeth Bruce; sister, Harriet; brothers, Gifford and Edwin Asbury.
