SARRATT CEMETERY The cemetery is located in No. 2 Township, Cleveland County, N.C. on top of a hill about 300 yards directly north of end of present steel bridge spanning Main Broad River at Settlemyer's old Ferry, and just west where Sandy Run Creek empties into Main Broad River, on lands now owned by Chas. H. Haynes and Cliffside Cotton Mill. Owner of Cemetery: Chas. H. C., who died Aug. 16, 1862 from a wound received in the Battle before Richmond. Aged 19 years." (One unmarked grave on north side. Worker: A. G.
