(Reuben Hamrick's daughter was the first person buried at Boiling
Springs Cemetery, although there is no marker.  Reported by C. E.
Bridges, resident of Boiling Springs.0

(Mr.  Avery Buchanan, a recent sexton of the Church and in care of the
cemetery, said there were at least 750 graves in the cemetery.)

(The three leading families numerically, in this cemetery up to 1914 are
represented as follows according to our survey:  38 Greens, 30 Hamricks,
and 27 McSwains.  These three remarked per:  Worker, Anson G. Melton.)
