The following obituary appeared in the October 23, 1847 issue of the Raleigh Register. Robert Freeman CRENSHAW was the 5 year-old child of Dr. Wm. M. CRENSHAW, late of Wake County. Robert died of congestive chill in Tarboro, NC.
