In the name of the Glorious Trinety, Father, Son and Holy Ghost one God, world without end Amen.- I Rob't Wynne of the County of Tyrrel and State of North Carolina (Planter) being in a reasonable state of health, and I think of sound mind and memory, thanks be to the Great Kings for his great favor bestowed on me, calling to mind the uncertainty of this transitory life and that all flesh has to yield to death at the call of the Glorious King, I do these presents, make, ordain & declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following revoking and cumulling all wills by me made either by word or writing, and this only to be taken for my last Will and Testament and none other- And first of all, I recommend my soul to Almighty God at his call, trusting in a Glorious Redeemer for his sake alone for eternal life and salvation, and my body to be burried in a christian like manner by my executors hereafter named, and my temporal estate, that it hath pleased God to bestow on me, I give and dispose of in the following manner (To wit:)

Item- I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Harriet the wife of John Dunbar, one negro woman named Agga, and one woman named Rose, to her and her heirs forever- also one negro boy Simon until Thomas Wynne becomes of lawful age, at which time she is to deliver him over to the said Thomas Wynne-

Item- I give and bequeath to my two grand sons, Wilson W. Norman and his brother Charles Norman, two negro boys names Turner and Hardy to be equally divided between them to them and their heirs forever-

Item- I give and bequeath to my will beloved daughter Mary T. wife of Daniel Woodly the manner Plantation whereon I live, to her & her heirs forever which bounds as follows Viz. Beginning as far West of my dwelling as my lane which divides my fields beginning at the old Road near the arch on a ditch, and running said lane and my old fish cart path to Solomon Hassell's line and binding his line to the swamp, thence binding the swamp to Wynne's old line, thence running Wynne's old line East to the river, thence down the river to where the deed from Edward Hassell to Peter Wynne strickes the river, thence up that line the Sheild's line to the swamp to the dancing hickory bridge and Silas Wynne's line running down the old road to the first station containing two hundred acres more or less- also negro man Jesse and negro woman Jenny now in her possession, to her & her heirs forever-

Item- I give and bequeath to my grand son Thomas Wynne son of the late Silas Wynne & Matilda his wife, the Westward end of my plantation adjoining Solomon Hassell, beginning at two scrubby oaks near his road and barns thence running his line on a ditch to my old fish cart path, thence said cart path bounding my land between my fields to Wynne's old road, thence up that road to the dancing hickory bridge, and the late Silas Wynne's line to a corner gum tree at the old road and along said road to Hassell's & Dunbar's road & along that road to the first station containing sixty, more or less- also negro boy Simon to be delivered to him by his Aunt Harriet Dunbar when he becomes of lawful age- to him & his heirs forever- also one hundred dollars to be paid him from my estate.-

Item- I give and bequeath to my seven grand children, which are the children of the late Alexander Dillin and Sarah his wife (to wit) James R. Dillin, Caroline M. Alexander, Mary Sutton, William, Robert, Silas, and Henry Dillin, seven hundred dolls to be paid out of my estate and equally divided between them, to them and their heirs forever-

Item- I give and bequeath to my grand daughter Mary, wife of Franklin Spruill, two hundred dollars to be paid out of my estate- to her & her heirs forever-

Item- I give and bequeath to my grand children Harriet & Eliza, children of the late Silas Wynne & Matilda his wife, two hundred dollars to be paid out of my estate and equally divided between them, to them and their heirs forever-

Item- I give and bequeath to my grand son Rob't W. Woodly son of Daniel Woodly & Mary T. his wife, one negro girl Sophia, to him & his heirs forever-

Item- I do hereby appoint Capt. Jno. Dunbar trustee to take charge of Thomas Wynne's & his two sisters Harriet & Eliza's legacies, and to manage the same as he may think proper for their interest.-

Item- I give and bequeath to miss Ann Tarkenton in consideration of her taking care of my domestic concerns and attending me in sickness till my decease, one hundred dollars in cash to be paid immediately after my decease-

Item- I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughters Harriet the wife of John Dunbar, & Mary T. the wife of Daniel Woodley to them & their heirs forever, all the remaining part of my estate, to be equally divided between them, to them & their heirs forever-

Item- I hereby appoint John Dunbar and Daniel Woodley executors of this my last Will and Testament-

In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & seal this 24th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty-two-
