September Session 1753

Elizabeth Woods exhibeted a petition praying an order for administration on the estate of Richd. Woods her deceased husband, the same is accordingly granted, James Fox security in the sum of one hundred pounds Proclen.

An inventory of the estate of Robert Combs (probable error by clerk, should say Richard Woods) deceased was proved in open court by Elizabeth Woods.

September Session 1754

Jams. Fox exhibeted a petition praying administration on the estate of Richard Wood deceased which is granted and ordered that he sell the perashable part of the sd. deceased estate.

December Session 1754

Cornealas Fitzpatrick exhibeted a petition praying an order on administration on the estate of Richard Wood deceased which is granted and he accordingly enters William Barns and John Best securitys in the sum of one hundred pounds Proclamation money. Ordered that he sell the perishable part of the said estate and return the same to next court.

March Court 1764

Read the petition of Elizabeth Fitzpartrick praying a devision of the estate of her former husband Richard Wood &c. Ordered that the following persons or any two of them devide the same & make return to our next court viz: Joseph Hassell, Mickel Alexander, Joseph Alexander.

September Court 1766

Joseph Hassell exhibited a division of the estate of Richard Woods ordered to be filed.

Personally appeared James Wood orphan of Richard Wood deceased and of his own free will chose Joseph Hassell guardain of his person & estate & enters Benjamin Hassell & Adkins Massey two hundred pounds proclamation money.

Personally appeared Joseph Hassell, Peter Wynne & Adkns Massey and duly acknowledge them selves bound to Edmund Smithwick Esqr. & the rest of the Justices of our court in the sum of two hundred pounds procl. money for the guardainship of James Wood orphan of Richard Wood deceased.

Guardian bond dated 18 Sep 1766 in the amount of two hundred pounds appointing Joseph Hassell guardian of James Wood orphan of Richard Wood deceased with Peter Wynne & Adkins Massey securities.

Inventory and division of the estate of Elizabeth Patrick's former husband's estate on 10 Aug 1764 by Joseph Hassell & Mikael Alexander. The appraisal came to 53 pounds, 2 shillings & 6 pence and they made allowances for the waste of the estate by Cornelius Patrick leaving 17 pounds, 14 shillings & 2 pence for each of the children, James Wood & Moley Wood.
