In the name of God Amen, I Ellenner Webster of the county of Tyrrell County (county) in the state of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory thanks to God for the same, and knowing that it is appointed to all persons to once die, do make this my last will and testament that is to say first and principally I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter named, and as to such worldly estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give and dispose thereoff in manner and form following -

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my son Robert Webster all and every my estate both real and personal of whatsoever kind unto him during his natural life, in witness whereoff I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the second day of March one thousand eight hundred and sixteen

April Session 1817

The last will & testament of Elliner Webster was exhibited into open court & proved by the oath of John Davenport & filed.

Robert Webster quallified as executor to the last will & testament of Ellender Webster deceased in due form of law.

Ordered that Robert Webster executor of the last will & testament of Ellender Webster deceased sell the perishable part of said deceased agreeable to law & make return to next court.

July Session 1817

The inventory of the estate Ellender Webster was returned on oath by Robert Webster the executor & filed.
