In the name of God amen: I, Robert Webb of Tyrrel County and Province of North Carolina being weak in body but of sound mind and memory blessed be God do this tenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy one make and ordain and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner & following that is to say.

Imprimis - I give to my son John Webb my manner plantation whereon I now live and all the lands thereunto belonging also that tract of land which I have taken up in Tar river to him and his heirs forever also one negro man named Jack to him and his heirs forever.

Item - My Will and desire is that the lands that I have already sold in Tar River to James Clark and Thomas Fornes that my Executors hereafter mentioned make a good Tittle for the one half of the land to James Clark when he shall have paid his confederation money also to make the said Thomas Fornes a right when he shall pay his part for said land or otherwise the half which he is to have to be sold any other person and the money arrising to be put out on interest.

Item - My will and desire is that all the rest and residue of my Estate goods chattels and personal Estate whatsoever may be sold at publick sale to the hiest bidder at six months credit and the money arrising by such sale to be let out on interest for the suppport and maintaining and education my said son John Webb till he shall come to the age of twenty one years or marrage and I make constitute and ordain my good friends Nathanil Webb Isham Webb and Francis Ward Junr. Executors in trust for my said son John Webb and it is my will that they shall put out what moneys shall arrise by said sail but so as not to be accountable for any bad debt or debts that shall be contracted and that they shall retain all their charges and expenses whatosever in relation to their trust In witness whereof I the said Robert Webb have hereunto set my hand and seal to his my last Will and Testament the day and year above written.
