Hear followeth an Acct of the Lands in the Cantoon from
Morrattock Bridge to Kendricks Creek which the Processioners appointed for Said Cantoon
have failed to procession together with their Reasons for Such Failure, Vizt.,
The Land whereon James Turnbull Esqr. Dwelleth, the Said James returning
Answer the Same could not be performed before there was a Sworn Surveyer y that the
Processioners had not Authority Enough to procession his Land. -- Item, the Lands called
Bakers, y Bunkum's, Hawkin's, Savories, Adderley's, Leggat's, Trotters, Boyan's y
Whitmells, (whereon James Ward now Dwelleth) Brown's Powel's, Richard Swinson's on the
Creek were not processioned, No Person appearing to attend or give Intelligence of Said
Lands. -- Item, the Dividing Line or Bounds between Edward Williams his Land y the other
Lands in Swinson's Neck, the Said Edward not believing it necessary, -- Item the Bounds
between Medestone y Legates Land for want of Intelligence. Then Those Boundaries or
bounded trees of Medestone whereon James Jones Dwelleth, to wit, a Pine in the Bottom of
Neck at the Dividing Branch, a Gum at the Mouth of Tussockey Branch, y a Corner next to the
Dismal, which Boundaries could not be found nor acertained; -- Item the Back Lines or
Bounds of the Honorable Edward Moseley's Lands called White Marsh y And the Bounds of
Mr. Thos. Lee's Lands called the Duck Ponds y Joyning or next the
Said White Marsh were not procession'd for want of true Intelligence, Nor could we find
Such Seeming bounded trees as we discovered to answer with the Courses y Distances of
Either wherefore we Ceased to procession the Said Lines or Bounds. Note, the
abovesd. Richard Swinson did not see Cause to procession the Land
abovesd. on the Creek Not knowing if he had or Should have any there. Item,
One Boundary of Becks Island Survey the Same being only Nominated, but not Run by Reason
of Impassible Grounds.
