In the name of God amen: The first day of Jany. 1800. I, Jonathan Sawyer of the County and State of aforesaid being in low state of health but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God calling to mind the mortality of my body knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my body to the earth to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give dimise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. My desire is that all my just debts to be paid out of my estate then I give and bequeath to my son Robt Sawyer fifty five acres of land on Kilkany known by the name of Dogwood Ridge Then I give all the remainder of my estate to my beloved wife Keziah Sawyer during her life or widdowhood and at her death or marriage to be equally divided between all my children also I constitute my son T. Robert Sayer and Thomas Weatherly my whole and sole executors of this my last Will and Testament Further more I do confirm whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal This day and year above written.

Thomas Weatherly & Robert Sawyer came into open court and quallified executors of the last will and testament of Jonathan Sawyer Esquire deceased.
