October Session 1783

Appeared in open court Ephraim Sawyer and prayed leave of administration on the estate of Thomas Sawyer deceased granted & give bond in 150 pounds specie John Poole & William Cohoon securities.

January Session 1784

Appeared in open court John Anderson Depy Sheriff and exhibited an account of sales of the estate of Thomas Sawyer deceased amounting to 53 pounds, 15 shillings & 5 pence - also an account of sales of part of the estate of James Fox deceased amounting to 5 pounds, 14 shillings & 9 1/1 pence.

October Session 1788

Hezekiah Spruill and John Poole appointed to audite the accounts of Ephraim Sawyer administrator of Thomas Sawyer deceased and return that there is a balance due from said administrator of 3 pounds, 6 shillings & 3 pence to said deceaseds estate and ordered filed.

Account of the sale of the perishable part of the estate of Thomas Sawyer deceased on 30 Oct 1783. Purchasers include Wm. Cohoon, Richard Sawyer, Ephraim Sawyer, Robert Sawyer, Joab Sawyer, Isaac Sawyer, Rufus Perisho, Mrs. Keziah Sawyer, Griffin Sawyer, Silas Foster, Jno. Anderson, Richard Brinn, Bartlet Jones, Jas. Best, Michl. Whitson, Josiah Simmons, James Sawyer, Robert Jones, Joseph Spence, Wm. McGound, Timothy Cotter, Ezekial Sawyer, John Pool, Dennis Sawyer & the widow Sawyer.

Execution dated 7 Jul 1785 and issued 2 Aug 1785 against Joseph Spence in a suit brought by Lemuel Sawyer executor and guardian to Thomas Sawyer for a debt incurred on 1 Oct 1779.
