March Session 1738

The will of Thomas Stubs was duely proved in open court according to law by the oath of Sarah Fagens one of the suscribing evidences. Fees paid.

September Session 1738

It was ordered at the motion of William Stubbs and Thomas Stubbs, two minors that they might have Nathaniel Everard Senr. for their guardian. Granted.

Nathaniel Everard Senr. having move that he might have the administration of the estate of his daughter deceased, which was granted.

June Session 1739

The petition of William Stubbs a minor in behalf of himself Vca. was read in these words vizt. Vca. Ordered that Nathl. Everet Senr. give security for his guardianship in the sum of L 1000. Bond filed.

Account of sales proved & returned into court of the estate of Thos. & Mary Stubbs deceased and filed.

An inventory of the estate of Thos. & Mary Stubbs was duly proved and filed by Nathl. Everet Senr.

On motion of Richd. Fagan made to this court praying to be allowed the sum of twenty five pounds out of the estate of Thomas Stubbs deceased for the maintaining of Sarah, an orphan of Thos. & Mary Stubbs to this day granted and ordered that the sd. orphan be bound to the sd. Fagan till she be of age or marryed, he teaching her to read and write & to knitt & sow & Spinn & Indention according to law.

September Session 1739

This court ordered that the estate of the late Thos. Stubbs deceased be divided amongst the children of the said Stubbs, and that William Roads, Daniel Garret, Benjamin Blount be, and they are hereby appointed to make a division of the said estate amongst the said children.

Guardian bond dated 5 Jun 1739 in the amount of 1,000 pounds appointing Nathaniel Everard guardian to Thos. Stubbs, Rich. Stubbs & Everard Stubbs Hannah Stubbs & Mary Stubbs orphans of Thos. Stubbs deceased with Joseph Dwight & Cornelius Callihan securities.

Inventory of the goods & chattels of Thomas & Mary Stubbs deceased on 31 Oct 1738 and signed by Nathaniel Eaverett guardian to the estate of the children of Thomas Stubbs deceased.

Bond dated June 1739 in the amount of 1,000 pounds appointing Nathaniel Everard guardian of Thos. Stubbs Rich. Stubbs Everard Stubbs Hannah & Mary Stubbs orphans of Thomas Stubbs deceased, Joseph Dwight & Cornelious Calihan securities.

Account of the goods sold at vandue of the estate of Thomas & Mary Stubbs deceased on 19 June 1741. Purchasers include Jacob Blunt, Daniel Garrett, Benj. Blunt and John Harrison.

Bond dated 7 Mar 1743 in the amount of 1,000 pounds appointing Nathaniel Everett Senior is appointed guardian to the orphans and estate of Thomas & Mary Stubbs deceased, William Downing & Richard Fagan securities.
