June the eleventh one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven. The gift of Benjamin Spruill deceas'd to his wife Grace. I give to my wife Grace all the Estate I am now possest with forever and I do lend my part of the negroes left to me during her natural life and after her decease I give them to be equally divided between Joseph Jack James Jackson and Ann Spruill daughter of William Spruill.


Appeared before me this day Mary Spruill and made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that she heard Benjamin Spruill some time before his death make these gifts as they stand above written proved before me this 12th day of June 1787.

Grace Spruill widow of Benjamin Spruill deceased exhibits in court a noncupative will of the said deceased the same was admitted to probate upon the examination of Mary Spruill and Joseph Jackson the subscribing witnesses thereto according to law.

Ordered that Grace Spruill widow of Benja. Spruill deceased have leave of administration on the said deceaseds estate with the will annexed and qualifyed accordingly and give bond in 1,000 pounds Jesse Spruill & Thomas Spruill securitys.
