October Session 1786

Ordered that Sarah Snell have leave of administration on the estate of John Snell deceased her late husband and give bond in 1,000 pounds Isaac Devenport Junr. and Jacob Devenport Junr. securities filed.

Also returns an inventory of the said deceased estate & proved.

Also that the said administratrix have leave to sell the perishable part of the said deceased estate & make return to next court.

January Session 1787

Henry Norman Deputy Sheriff exhibited into court an account of sales of the estate of John Snell deceased amounting to 33 pounds, 1 shilling & 10 pence ordered to be filed.

April Session 1787

Ordered that Sarah Spruill administratrix of John Snell deceased have leave to sell all the perishable part of the said deceaseds estate and make return to next court.

July Session 1788

Ordered that Sarah Snell administratrix of John Snell deceased have leave to sell so much of the perishable estate of the said deceased as will pay the said deceased debts and make return to next court.

Thomas Stewart and Hezekiah Spruill Esquires appointed to audit and inspect and settle the accounts of guardians administrators and administratrix accounts of the deceased estates which is accordingly done as per entrys following to wit - Sarah Snell administratrix of John Snell deceased and find a balance due said administratrix of 49 pounds, 15 shillings & 4 pence filed.

October Session 1788

Henry Norman Deputy Sheriff returns into court an account of sales of the estate of John Snell deceased to the amount of 34 pounds, 5 shillings & 3 pence ordered filed.

October Session 1800

Ordered that Henry Norman Esqr. Richard Howet and James Hoskins be appointed to audite and settle the accounts between Holt Snell and Joseph Snell administrator of John Snell, who was executor of Roger Snell deceased or any two of them and make return to next court.
