July Session 1829

Ordered that John Simmons have leave to administer on the estate of John Simmons Sr. deceased & that he enter into bond with Henry Gibson & Wm. Simmons security.

October Session 1829

Jno. Simmons returned into court account sales of the estate of Jno. Simmons deceased and filed.

January Session 1831

Ordered that Abner Sawyer, Abel Sawyer & Henry German audite & settle the estate of John Simmons Senr. with the administrator John Simmons Junr. & report to next term.

July Session 1831

The audited account of the estate of John Simmons was returned into open court balance due by administrator $47.75.

Bond dated 27 Jul 1829 in the amount of five hundred dollars appointing John Simmons administrator of the estate of John Simmons Senr. deceased, Wm. Simmons & Henry Jarman securities.

Summons dated the fourth Monday in July 1829 for John Simmons Junr. administrator of John Simmons Senr. to appear at court on the fourth Monday in October next to show cause, if any, why execution should not issue against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of John Simmons Senr. to satisfy a judgement obtained against him by Benjamin Sikes for $25.38 plus $5.48 in damages, $4.92 in costs and interest on $25.38 from 1821.

Summons dated the fourth Monday in July 1829 and issued 20 Aug 1829 for John Simmons Junr. administrator of John Simmons Senr. to appear at court on the fourth Monday in October next to show cause, if any, why execution should not issue against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of John Simmons Senr. to satisfy a judgement obtained against him by Benjamin Sikes & Thomas Liverman for $17.99 plus $8.32 in costs and interest from 23 Jan 1819.

Execution dated the first Monday in March 1832 and issued 18 Apr 1832 against the goods & chattels. lands and tenements of Benjamin Sikes for $21.90 which the Superior Court officers lately recovered for court costs in March Term 1832 in the suit Thomas Liverman Benjamin Sikes real plaintiff vs. John Simmons Junr. administrator of John Simmons Senr.
