Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions
April Session 1814
Ordered that John Sikes have leave of administration on the estate of Jesse Sikes & have entered into bonds in the sum of one thousand pounds & have given for security Joseph Cahoon & Solomon Hassell Esqr.
Ordered that John Sikes Senr. administrator on the estate of Jesse Sikes sell the estate of said deceased agreeable to law & make return to next term.
July Session 1814
The inventory & account of sales of Jesse Sikes was returned to court on oath by John Sikes Senr. his administrator and ordered filed.
April Session 1816
Ordered that John A. Partrick Timothy Jones and Joseph White be appointed to audite and settle the estate of Jesse Syks deceased and make return to next court.
July Session 1817
Ordered that John A. Patrick Timothy Jones & Joseph White audite & divide the estate of Jesse Sikes deceased and make return to the next term.
