Transcriber's Notes:

Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of John Richardson to Ferebee Sawyer on 30 Dec 1827, Charles McClees security.

The 1850 census of Tyrrell County shows a household consisting of Thomas White (47), Feribee White (46), Martha White (17), James R. White (15), Elizabeth A. White (14), Warren White (9), Feribee White (7) & Thomas J. White (1). It appears that Thomas White has married Feribee, widow of John Richardson, and that her older children are erroneously listed with the surname White.
