Dated 10 February 1830

In the name of God amen I John Richardson Senr. of the state of North Carolina and County of Tyrell being in common health and of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form as followeth that is to say first I give my land that I now live on with all the preveledges there unto belonging unto my two younger sons that is to say Nathan and James to be equely devided between them two by first excepting my wifes natrel life time to live on it as for my son John he has had his part by giveing him the chance as I did in buing the land that he now lives on also my son Willeby has received his part and sold it by my asining the deed my perishable property I lend to my beloved wife during her natrel lifetime by paying all my lawfull debts and at her death I give my bees to my son Nathan and the remainder part of my perishable property to be sold and the money to be equely devided between my five daughters that is to say Orpah, Adores, Elisabeth, Nancy and Polley and I do heareby apoint my wife Ann Richardson and my son John executors to this my last will and testament in Witness thereof I have heareunto set my hand and seal this the tenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and thirty

The last will and testament of Jno. Richardson Senr. was exhibited in open court and the execution of it proved by the oath of Jordan Jones who also swore he saw John Jones sign the same as concurring testimony and at the same time appeared John Richardson Junr. and qualified executor thereto.
