I Jehoda Patrick of the County of Tyrrel and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existance do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say-

Item- first- That my executor hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all funeral expenses together with my just debts whosoever and to whomsoever owing out of the monies that may first come into his hands as a part or parcel of my estate-

Item- 1st. I give and bequeath to my oldest daughter Lois Morris widow of Joseph Morris the sum of fifty dollars to be paid by my executor within six months from the time of my death out of the monies belonging to my estate to be hers and her heirs forever-

Item- 2nd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Fanny Spruill wife of John Spruill the sum of fifty dollars to be paid by my executor within six months from the time of my death and of the monies belonging to my estate to be her and her heirs forever-

Item- 3rd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Morris wife of William Morris the sum of fifty dollars to be paid by my executor within six months from the time of my death out of the monies belonging to my estate to be hers and her heirs forever-

Item- 4th. I give and bequeath to my daughter Susan Roughton wife of Zacheriah Roughton one horse and all of the cattle and all of the hogs one bed, two bed steads, and all of the bedding which I shall have at my death one desk and all of my chairs and sofa, one case, one candle stand, one clock, two trunks, two chests, one table and all the crockery ware and glass ware and kitchen furniture all the rest and residue of my estate which I shall be seized and possessed with at the time of my death to hers and her heirs forever- I hereby conclude and appoint my son in law Zacheriah Roughton my whole and sole executor to this my last Will and Testament given under my hand and seal this the 30 day of August 1850-
