Account sales of the hire of negroes & rent of lands belonging to the estate of James Pledger was returned to court on oath & filed.
Transcriber's Notes:
There is no will or loose estate papers for a James Pledger and he does not appear on census records as a head of household. This
is probably the James Pledger named as a son of Joseph Pledger in his will in 1807. He must have died youung.
