OWENS FAMILY BIBLE
This small 1832 Bible is in the possession of Mr. John Fisher of Currituck Co. North Carolina. Most of the entries are in the same handwriting which may have been Hester Ann Owens. Hester was the daughter of Ammon Owens of Tyrrell Co., and his second wife Sally Ann Davis. Hester married Isaac C. Fisher on August 3, 1855, and the Bible was handed down through the family. Ammon Owens has decedents in both Tyrrell and Currituck counties.
