July Session 1813

Ordered that William Cahoon have administration on the estate of Jesse Norris and gives for security Solmon Hassell Esqr. & William Livermon Junr. securities in the sum of five hundred pounds.

October Session 1813

An account of sales & inventory of the estate of Jesse Norris was returned to court on oath by Wm. Cahoon the administrator and filed.

Ordered that the widdow of Jesse Norris deceased be allowed a years provision out of her former husbands estate & make return to next court.

January Session 1814

The years provision of the widdow of Jesse Norris deceased was returned to court by Wm. Cahoon the administrator amounting to $79.25 ordered filed.

April Session 1814

An account of sales of the residue of the estate of Jesse Norris was returned to court by Wm. Cahoon & filed.

July Session 1815

Ordered that John A. Patrick, Timothy Jones and Joseph White be appointed to ausite and settle the estate of Jesse Norris deceased and make returns to next court.

October Session 1815

The audited accounts of Wm Alexander administrator on the estate of Jesse Norris deceased was reurned into court and balance due the estate of said deceased the sum of four hundred and sixty two dollars & 97/100.

January Session 1816

Ordered that William Liverman Junr. be appointed guardian to Sarah Norris heir of Jesse Norris deceased and has entered into bond agreeable to law Wm. Liverman Senr. and William Meekins his securities.

July Session 1819

Ordered that David Clayton John A. Patrick & Joseph White audite & settle the accounts between Sally Norris & William Liverman guardian & make report to next term.

October Session 1819

The guardian accounts of William Liverman Junr. as guardian to Sally Norris orphan of Jesse Norris was returned to court ballance due the said Sally Norris $233.76 cts per account filed.

Bond dated 14 Jul 1813 in the amount of five hundred pounds appointing William Cohoon administrator of the estate of Jesse Norris deceased, Solomon Hassell & William Liverman Junr. securities.

Petition October Term 1813 by William Brown & Nancy his wife who was formerly the wife of Jesse Norris who died intestate leaving considerable personal property which was administered on in the last term by William Cohoon. No years allowance has been set aside from the estate of Jesse Norris for his wife Nancy and petitioners request that it be done.

Laying off of the widow's year's allowance out of the estate of Jesse Norris on 29 Dec 1813.

Bond dated 9 Jan 1816 in the amount of six hundred pounds appointing William Liverman Junr. guardian to Sarah Norris orphan of Jesse Norris deceased, Wm. Liverman Senr. & William Meekins securities.

Summons dated 11 Oct 1819 and issued 26 Dec 1819 for William Cohoon of Ruben to appear in court to answer charges of trespass by Benjamin S. Clayton to his damage of two hundred and fifty dollars.

Bail bond dated 3 Jan 1820 in the amount of five hundred dollars given by William Cohoon of Ruben to guarantee his appearance at the next court, David Cohoon security.

Receipt of Benjamin S. Clayton dated 25 Mar 1820 for one hundred & seventeen dollars and twenty two cents recived fom William Cohoon as part pay of a judgement held against him as guardian of Sally Norris.
