April Session 1781
Ordered that Joseph Devenport take into his hands the goods & chattles of Sarah Norman deceased & make returns to next court.
July Session 1781
Joseph Devenport appeared in open court & prayed administration on the estate of Sarah Norman deceased and quallified as the law directs also gave in security Jeremh. Frasier and John Swain Esqr. in a bond of 50,000 pounds.
October Session 1781
Mary Oliver returned into open court on oath an account against the estate of Sarah Norman deceased of 1,500 pounds ordered to be filed.
Ordered that Joseph Devenport sell the perishable part of the estate of Sarah Norman deceased and make returns to next court.
