September Session 1739

The petition of Christian Nairn was read in open court praying she might be allowed to sell two of the slaves belonging to her late husband John Nearn's estate. Granted. The aforesd. Christian Nearn exhibited an inventory of the estate of her late husband John Nairn in open court.

December Session 1739

The petition of Christian Nairne read in these words vizt. Vca. Ordered that an advertizement be put up for the sale of the two negroes belonging to the estate of John Nairne deceased at least twenty days before the sale and at some publick places in this county acording to law and that an account of the sales thereof be returned to the next court.

September Session 1740

James Conner exhibbeted an acct. of sails of part of the estate of John Nairn deceased proved by his corporal oath.
