In the name of God Amen the eighth day of May one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven I William Morris being sick in body but of good and perfect memorey thanks be to almighty God and calling to rimmerance the unsertanty state of this transitory life and that all felsh must yeald unto death when it shall plase God to call do make and declear this my last will and testement in manner and form following first being pennetent and sory for all my sins most humbling desiring forgaveing for the same I commend my sole unto almighty God my saveour and redeamour in ? by whose merritt I trust and beleave assurredly to be saved and to have full remition and for giveness of all my sins and inherritt the kingdom of haven and my body I comitt the earth to be deseantly beried att the deschritons of my executors here after named and for the settling of my tempereal estate and such goods and chattles and and ? itt hath plesed God to bestow upon me I dow order give and dispose in manner and form following that is to say I gave and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Jane Morris all my ? estate with all horses cattel houges sheep and all kind house funeturner except one bed and funeture I give to my younges daughter Ester Morris and everything to my well belove wife duering hir life and then to be equaly deviderd betwene my children Eward Morris Mary Pagett Sarrah Smith Ann Nicholls Hanneh Scales Elizeth Jones and Ester Morris I gave and bequeath unto my son Edward Morris after his mother dies all my lands to him and his heirs for ever and hereby make and appoint my well beloved wife Jane Morris full and sole executrix of this my last will and testement hereby revoking disnuling and makng void all former wills and bequests by me maid declearing this only to be my last will and testement in witness -

In the term of June anno dom. 1767 personally appeared Cuthbert Phelps a subscribing witness hereunto & made oath on the Holy Evangelist of almighty God that he saw & hard William Morris the testator sign, seal, publish, pronounce & declare this writing to be and contain his true last will and testament & that at the signing he was of sound mind & memory & at the same time Salvenus Buttry signed as witness & further saith not
