April Session 1823

Administration on the estate of Sarah Marriner deceased was committed to John Marriner who entered into bond with approved seurity ordered that letters of administration issue thereon & that he account for the same as the law directs.

January Session 1826

Ordered that administration de bonis non on the estate of Sarah Marriner deceased be granted to Wilson B. Hodges.

Bond dated 26 Jan 1826 in the amount of one hundred dollars appointing Wilson B. Hodges administrator of the estate of Sarah Mariner deceased, Joseph Halsey & Jeremiah H. Phelps securities.


Transcriber's Notes:
Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of John Marriner to Sarah Norman (widow) on 1 Sep 1804, Joshua Spruill security.
Sarah Norman was the widow of Henry Norman who wrote his will in 1804.
Court minutes show that John Marriner died before October 1825 and Wilson B. Hodges was appointed administrator of his estate.
