In the name of God amen: I Cabb Merchant of the County of Tyrell Planter being very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian buriel at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worlkdly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form ---

First - I give and bequeath to Mary my dearly beloved wife the whole of my estate during her life or widdowhood and after that to be equally divided amounst my children and also I appoint my beloved wife the sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament off and singular may possed with during her life or widdowhood, and I do hereby utterly disallow and revoke disannul all and every other former testament Wills Legacies and bequeaths to and executors by me in any way before mentioned Willed and bequeath ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred

August Session 1808

Joseph McKimmy proved in open court the last will of Caleb Marchant and that he saw Joseph Hassell and William Beasley the other subscribing witnesses sign also and he believes the testator to be in his sound mind at the time he assigned the above will.

Mary Marchant came into court and qullified executrix to the last will and testament of Caleb Marchant deceased.

Mary Marchant prayed an order for the sale of the movable property of Caleb Marchant deceased granted.
