I Thos. E. Mann of the State of North Carolina Tyrrell County, being sick in body but of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament.

Item - I give unto my grandmother Rosina Leigh all of the money in the hand of Samul Leigh my grandson, that I inherited by the death of my uncle Benj. Leigh, also the money that is in his hands, that I inhereted by the sale of my grand mothers left in her possession by my grand father Thos. Leigh & was sold for a division ---

Item - I lend unto my brother Ephram Mann during his natural life, the residue of my estate and should he die without leaving lawful heirs of his body I give it to be equally divided between my uncle Samuel Leigh and his heirs and my uncle Thos. Manns heirs. I further nominate and appoint by frend H. G. Sprll excutor to this my last will and testament March 13, 1840.
