Dated 21 January 1807

In the name of God amen: I Hanner Megown of the state and County aforesaid being very sick and weak in or in perfect health of body but or and of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appoiinted for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I gave and recommend my soul into the hant of almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the discreation of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.

First - I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved daughter Sally Fosky five shillings lawfull money to be raised and levied out of my estate also I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved son Job Megaun whom I likewise constitute make and ordain the sole executrix of this my last will and testament all and singular my beds furniture all my utentials and also my possessions by him freely to be possessed and enjoyed and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testaments wills legacies bequeaths and executors by me in any wise before mentioned ratifying and confirming In witness whereof I have here to set my hand and seal this 21st day January 1807.

Abner Sawyer Esq. came into open court and being duly sworn deposeth that he saw Hannah McGown the testatrix sign seal publish & declare this instrument of writing to be her last will & testament & that she was at the time of publishing the same of sound & perfect mind & memory & at he also saw Joseph Sawyer & Joab Sawyer sign sign sd will as concurs any evidence thereto
