Note dated 22 Mar 1793 in which John Williams & Joshua Swain promise to pay 25 pounds to Jesse Lewis on or before the first of November next. Witnessed by Benjamin Long. Endorsed by Jesse Lewis to pay the note to Robert Moody. Also endorsed that eight pounds and fifteen shillings in staves was received from John Williams at Edenton in April 1797.

Summons dated 23 Apr 1799 for Robert Moody to appear before John Leary or some other justice to answer the complaint of John Williams of debt by note of twenty pounds. Judgement was rendered by John Leary on 11 May 1799 for the plaintiff in the amount of fifteen pounds, seven shillings & six pence plus lawful costs. Defendant appealed and gave Jno. Frasier for security.

Summons dated 4 May 1799 and signed by John Leary for John Williams to appear before him or some other justice to answer the complaint of Robert Moody in a plea of debt by note for 20 pounds. Followed by a note to summons Esther Swift, Joshua Swift & Miles Davenport for the defendant and John Baratz & ? for the plaintiff. Dismissed at the plaintiffs cost.

Summons dated 24 Jul 1799 for Esther Swift & Joshua Swift to attend court on the 4th Monday in October next to testify on behalf of John Williams in a suit in which John Williams is plaintiff and Robert Moody is defendant.

Summons dated 28 Jan 1800 for Joshua Swift to attend the next court and tesify on behalf of John Williams in a suit in which John Williams is plaintiff and Robert Moody is defendant.

Summons directed to the Sheriff of Washington County dated 29 Apr 1800 for Easther Davenport to attend the next court and tesify on behalf of John Williams in a suit in which John Williams is plaintiff and Robert Moody is defendant.

Subpoena dated 30 Jul 1800 directed to the Sheriff of Chowan County for Lemuel Standing (?) Esqr. administrator of Robert Moody deceased to appear in court in Tyrrell County on the 4th Monday in October next to show cause, if any, why execution should not proceed against him for the judgement rendered in the case of John Williams vs. Robert Moody.

Execution dated 25 Apr 1804 and issued 3 May 1804 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of Moses Davenport & Woollsy Hathaway for twenty two pounds, one shilling & five pence which Jno. Frazier administrator of Robert Moody recovered from them in a suit for debt, damage & cost.
