I B. V. McClees being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make & declare this to be my last Will & Testament:
I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved nephew Nat Meekins. Whose real name is Joseph Charles Meekins, the son of my beloved Sister Nancy, all of my property both real, and personal, of which I may die posessed of or entitled to and by this I mean to give him every thing I posses including money, notes, bonds, and choses in action.

I hereby nominate & appoint Mark Majette to be my executor to this my last Will & Testament to perform the same according to the true intent and meaning thereof.

This in my own handwriting this 30th day of October 1909.

In the matter of the last Will & Testament of (Mrs) B. V. McClees, deceased.

Mark Majette, R. H. Spruill & J. L. Spruill and being duly sworn depose & say & each for himself depose & says that they were well acquainted with (Mrs) B. V. McClees & know her hand writing and have often seen her wiriting. That the paper purporting to be her last Will & Testament this day offered for probate and every part thereof. Including the signature thereto is in the proper hand writing of said (Mrs) B. V. McClees.

A paper writing without subscribing Witnesses, purporting to be the last Will & Testament of (Mrs.) B. V. McClees, deceased, is exhibited in open court by Mark Majette the executor therein named: and it is there upon proved by the oath and examination of Mark Majette that the said Will was lodged in the hands of Mark Majette of safe keeping. And it is further proved by the oath and examination of three competent & credible Witnesses, to Wit, Mark Majette, D. J. L. Spruill & R. H. Spruill that they are acquainted with the handwriting of the said (Mrs.) B. V. McClees, having often seen her Write, and verily believe that the name of the said (Mrs) B. V. McClees, subscribed to the said Will. And the Said Will itself and every part thereof is in the handwriting of the said (Mrs) B. V. McClees and it is further proved by the last mentioned Witnesses, that the said handwriting is generally known to the acquaintances of the said (Mrs) B. V. McClees. It is therefore considered & adjudged by the court that that the said paperwriting and every part thereof is the last will & Testament of the Said (Mrs) B. V. McClees, and the same is ordered to be recorded & filed.

This 31st day of May 1909.
