January Session 1780

John Bateman appeared in open court and qualified as administrator to the estate of James McCabe deceased and gave in security James Swain and Joshua Alexander in a bond of 2,000 pounds.

April Session 1780

Inventory of the estate of James McCabe deceased exhibited by Jno. Bateman admor on oath ordered to be filed.

Ordered that Jno. Bateman admor of the estate of James McCabe deceased sell the perishable part of sd. estate and make returns to next court.

July Session 1780

Acct. of sales of the estate of James McCabe deceased returned into open court by Henry Norman D. Sheriff ordered to be filed.

Inventory of part of the estate of James McCabe deceased returned into open court by John Bateman administrator ordered to be filed.

October Session 1780

John Bateman exhibits an account into open court the rights and credits between himself as admor to the estate of Jas. McCabe deceased and there appears a ballance due to the orphans of said deceased the sum of 677 pounds, 8 shillings & 2 pence ordered to be filed.

Ordered that a division be made of the estate of Jas. McCabe deceased when Capt. Peter Wynne James Phelps Esqr and Joshua Alexander were appointed or any two of them and make return to next court.

January Session 1781

John Bateman exhibited on oath into open court the account of sales of the estate of James McKeabe ordered to be filed.

James Phelps returns into open court the division of the estate among the ares of James McKeabe deceased the widows part is 346 pounds, 17 shillings & 4 pence Steven McKeabe part is 231 pounds, 4 shillings & 10 pence Sarah McKeabe part is 231 pounds, 4 shillings & 10 pence Elizabeth McKeabe part is 231 pounds, 4 shillings & 10 pence as appears by division ordered to be filed.

Bond dated 4 Jan 1780 in the amount of two thousand pounds appointing John Bateman administrator of the estate of James McCabe deceased, Joshua Alexander & James Swain securities.

Execution dated 8 Apr 1785 and issued 25 May 1785 against the goods & chattels, lands & tenements of Stephen Hooker for twelve pounds, two shillings & nine pence which John Bateman & John Snell administrators of James McCabe deceased recovered from him for debt, costs & charges.
