October Session 1815

Ordered that Ashbery Liverman orphan of Jethro Liverman be bound an apprentice to Gideon Cohoon to learn the art and mistery of a cooper and to have him taught to read write and cypher as far as the rule of three.

January Session 1818

Ordered that Jesse Hassell constable bring into the next court the orphans of Jethro Liverman deceased for the purpose of having the said orphans bound apprentices.

October Session 1819

Matthew Brickhouse was appointed guardian to Ashbury Liverman John Liverman Permela Liverman Esther Liverman & Hardy Liverman orphans of Jethro Liverman and entered into bonds with approved security Ordered that he receive the estate of said orphans into his possession & account for the same as the law directs.

Bond dated 12 Oct 1819 in the amount of two hundred & fifty dollars appointing Matthew Brickhouse guardian of Permelia Liverman orphan of Jethro Liverman deceased, Danl. Bateman & Evan Hassell securities.

Bond dated 12 Oct 1819 in the amount of two hundred & fifty dollars appointing Matthew Brickhouse guardian of Hardy Liverman orphan of Jethro Liverman deceased, Danl. Bateman & Evan Hassell securities.

Bond in Oct Term 1819 in the amount of two hundred & fifty dollars appointing Matthew Brickhouse guardian of John Liverman orphan of Jethro Liverman deceased, Danl. Bateman & Evan Hassell securities.

Summons dated the fourth Monday in July 1822 and issued 21 August 1822 for Matthew Brickhouse Junr. to appear in court the first Monday after the fourth Monday of September next. Having been appointed guardian of Permelia Liverman Hardy Liverman Esther Liverman & John Liverman orphans of Jethro Liverman deceased in October Term 1819, he has failed to exhibit his accounts to the court as required by Act of Assembly.

Summons dated the first Monday after the fourth Monday in July 1822 and issued 22 August 1822 for Matthew Brickhouse Junr. to appear in court the first Monday after the fourth Monday of September next. Having been appointed guardian of the orphans of Jethro Liverman deceased in October Term 1819, he has failed to renew his bonds as required by Act of Assembly passed in 1820.

Tyrrell County marriage bonds show the marriage of Jethro Liverman to Mary Cohoon on 5 Mar 1799, John Clayton security.
Ashbery Liverman, orphan age 15, was subsequently bound an apprentice on 13 Apr 1818 to Thos. D. Wichett (?) to learn the trade of mariner.
Hardy Liverman, orphan age 14, was bound an apprentice to Matthew Brickhouse on 11 Oct 1819 to learn the trade of cordwinder.
