September Session 1756

The petition of Lydia Lovick read praying letters of admin. on the estate of her deceased husband Lancaster Lovick ordered that the sd. Lydia give security in the sum of two hundred pounds Proclamation money and enters Jos. Spruel Esq. & Thomas Hill securities for her administration.

December Session 1756

Joseph Spruil exhibeted by Joseph Spruil Esqr. the inventory of Lancaster Lovick deceased proved by Lydia Lovick.

September Session 1758

Read the petition of Thomas Hill praying an order of court for a devision of the estate of Lankaster Lovick deceased as the estate seem perishable & c. Ordered to ly over to next court.

December Session 1758

Read the petition of Samuel Gray praying an order for dividing the estate of Lancaster Lovett deceased & c. and on motion ordered that Samuel Gray make sale of so much of the personall estate as shall be sufficat to pay the debts of Lancasr. Lovett deceased, and it is further ordered that John Hooker Esqr. & James Phelps Senr. & Alexa. McCabe devide the aforesd. estate & return their proceedings to next court.

September Session 1759

John Hooker Esqr. exhibited the division of the estate Lancaster Loviett deceased agreeable to the order of last court.

Personally appeared John Hooker Esqr. and exhibited an acct. of sales of the estate of Lancaster Lovett deceased and on motion to be recorder & filed.

June Session 1759 ?

Motion of Samuel Gray for a devision of the estate of Lanckaster Lovick deceased granted & ordered that John Hooker Esqr., Alexander McCib and James Phillps Senr. or any two of the aforesd. gentm. are appointed to devide the estate of the aforesd. Lanckaster Lovick between his widow and chilldren and make returne of such their procedings to our next court.

June Session 1762

On motion of John Pearson atty. in behalf of the orphans of Lancaster Lovick deceased &c. It is ordered that a negro man named Cuf be sould at public vandue and that the money be devided between the widow and children according to law.

Ordered that summons issue to Samuel Gray admr. of Lank Lovick to appear at our next court and render an acct. of the estate of Lancaster Lovick deceased which has come to his hands and possession.

September Session 1762

Ordered that Capt. Joseph Spruill take into his hands & possession all the estate of the orphans of Lancaster Lovick deceased out of the hands of Samuel Gray or whosoever to be found copy issd.

Samuel Gray exhibited his account of the estate of the orphans of Lancaster Lovick deceased amounting to the sum of ninety seven pounds fourteen shillings proclamation money allowed and filed.

Jeremiah Wynne Esqr. exhibeted an account of sales of a negro called Cuff belonging to the estate of Lankester Lovick deceased amounting to the sum of one hundred and twelve pounds P. money.

June Session 1765

On motion of Mr. Thomas Jones in behalf of Samuel Gray for administration on the estate of Mary Lovett orphan of Lancaster Lovett deceased.

August Session 1769

Joseph Spruill Esquire is appointed guardain of Mary Lovett and Elizabeth Lovett orphans of Lankaster Lovick deceased and enters John Alexander Senr. & Thos. Learey in the sum of two hundred pounds who are approved of by the court and ordered that letter of {?} issue accordingly.

Division of the estate of Lancaster Lovett deceased between the widow and two children, Mary Lovitt & Elizabeth Lovitt filed September Court 1759.

Sale of part of the estate of Lancaster Lovick on 5 Mar 1759 pursuant to court order in December 1758. The sole purchaser was Samuel Gray.
