Notes, summons and executions in 1796 to 1799 relating to suits brought by Edmund Blount executor to the last will and testament of Thomas Lee deceased to recover debts due the estate. One is against Martin R. Byrd and Ann his wife, late Ann Lee, and James Long Junr. The note was signed by Ann Lee & James Long Junr. on 25 Aug 1796 and as a result of his marriage to Ann Lee, Martin R. Byrd also became liable for the debt. Also a suit against Peter Marriner & John Marriner for debt incurred by note on 25 Aug 1796. Another suit against Robert Cushing & Thomas Walker for debt incurred by a note dated 30 Dec 1797.

Petition for dower of Nancy Lee widow of Thomas Lee on 6 Oct 1796.

Laying off of the dower of Ann Lee widow of Thomas Lee on 18 Nov 1796. Includes 401 and 1/3 acres of land, one quarter of a grist mill and the negroes Con Dick Tony David.
