In the name of God Amen The 4th Day of July in the Year of our Lord 1732. I William Jordan of the Precinct of Terrill and County of Albermarle Being sick and weak in Body but of perfect mind & memory thanks be given unto God. Therefore calling unto mind the mortallity of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men once to dye do make & ordain this my Last will and Testament that is to say principally & first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it & for my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner att the discretion of my Executrix nothing doubting but att ye Generall Resurrecation I sahll receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such wordly Estate wherewith itt hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give devise & dispose of ye same in the following manner & form.

Imprimis - I give & bequeath unto my son John Jordan my manner Plantation and Land belonging to me which I now live on to him and his Airs likewise two cowes and one calf with their increase with one cow yearling with his own mark and a mare and her increase and one ewe with her increase.

Item - I bequeath to my daughter Ester a two year old heiffer and her increase and a two year old herfer with my desire she should have a mare for him and one ewe with her increase .

Item - I give to my well beloved wife Sarah Jordan the remainder of my Estate of good and goods and Chattles with two horses I likewise constitute make & ordain her & Nathanile Everett my hole and sole executor of this my Last will & Testament and all & singular my Lands by them their airs and assigns forever. I do hereby disalow revoke and disannull all and every other former Testament by them their airs & Executors by me in any way before named willing that this to be my Last will & Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this day and year above written.
