July Session 1792

Ordered that Margarett Jones have leave of administration on the estate of Friley Jones deceased her late husband and give bond in 1,000 pounds Edmund Blount Junr. & Richard Stubbs her securities.

Margarett Jones administratrix of Friley Jones deceased exhibits into court an inventory of the estate of the said deceased on oath & filed.

Ordered that Margarett Jones administratrix of Friley Jones deceased have leave to sell as much of the perishable part of the estate of the said deceased as will pay his debts & make return to next court.

October Session 1792

Ordered that Edmund Blount, William Harrison & Robert Davison Esqrs. be appointed to divide the estate of Friley Jones deceased among the heirs of the said deceased & make return to next court.

January Session 1793

Appeared in court Benjamin Jones orphan of Friley Jones deceased & made choice of his brother James Jones Junr. for his guardian & granted and give bond in 500 pounds Thomas Stubbs Esqr. & Steven Blount securitys.

July Session 1793

Ordered that Thomas Stubbs Junr. administrator in behalf of his wife on the estate of Friley Jones deceased have leave to sell the perishable part of the said deceased estate and mkake return to next court.

Ordered that Robert Davison, Edmund Blount, & Levi Blount Esqrs. be appointed to divide the estate of Friley Jones deceased among the representatives of the said deceased and make return to next court.

October Session 1793

The division of the estate of Major Friley Jones deceased was returned in court by Col. Edmund Blount one of the dividers.

Account of sales of the estate of Friley Jones deceased was returned in open court by Edmund Blunt Sheriff to the amount of 439 pounds, 13 shillings & 11 pence ordered to be filed.

October Session 1798

Ordered that five commissioners be appointed to wit Levi Blount William Fagan Esquires William Blount John Garrett & Arthur Turner with the Surveyor of the County to divide the lands of Major Friley Jones deceased among the representatives of said deceased and make returns to next court.

Ordered that Christopher Duckett be appointed guardian to Thomas Currel Jones & Friley Jones orphans of Friley Jones deceased for the purpose of {unreadable} for them in the division of the lands of said deceased.

January Session 1799

John Garrett one of the dividers appointed to divide the lands of Major Friley Jones among the representatives of said deceased returns in open court the division of said lands ordered registered.
