Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions


February Session 1773

On motion of Mr. Jos. Worth atty. in behalf of Sarah Jackson for administration on the estate of James Jackson deceased and enters into bond and security with William Chesson and Archaball Correy in the sum of four hundred pounds procl. money.

On motion of Mr. Worth atty. in behalf of Sarah Jackson for an order of sale of the perishable part of the estate of James Jackson deceased granted.

February Session 1775

William Spruill returned into court his accounts with the estate of James Jackson deceased & ordered that John {unreadable} Jeremiah Frazer & Benjamin Spruill Esqrs. audit the said accounts & make return to next court.

May Session 1775

Jeremiah Frazer Esqr. returned in court a state of the account between William Spruill & the estate of James Jackson & there appears a ballance due said estate of 20 pounds & 3 shillings.
