Tyrrell County Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions


January Session 1820

Administration on the estate of Sally Hatfield was committed to Hezekiah Spruill who entered into bond with approved security & qualified agreeable to law ordered that letters of administration issue thereon & that he rocee to sell the perishable estate of said deceased & account for the same as the law directs.

April Session 1820

Hezekiah Spruill administrator of Sarah Hatfield deceased returned in open court an inventory & account of sales of the said deceased proved & filed.

April Session 1824

On motion it is ordered that William Spruill, John Haughton and Silas Davenport be appointed auditors to settle the accounts between Hezekiah Spruill administrator and Sally Hatfield deceased and make report to the next term.

July Session 1829

Ordered that John Haughton, Silas Davenport & Moriss W. Kenedy (?) audite & settle the estate of Sarah Hatfield with the administrator Hezekiah Spruill.
