July Session 1819

Administration on the estate of James Hassell deceased was committed to Marey Hassell and on the estate of William D. Hassell deceased to John Beasley both of whom entered into bond with approved security & qualified agreeable to law ordered that letters of administration isue thereon & that they proceed to sell the perishable estate of said deceased and account for the same as the law directs.

Ordered that John Beasley Joseph Wynne Junr. & Spencer Midyett with John Micheau Esquire lay off to Marey Hassell widow of James Hassell deceased one years provision out of the estate of said deceased agreeable to act of assembly & make return to next term.

October Session 1819

The years provision of Marey Hassell widow of James Hassell was returned to court & filed.

Inventory & account of sales of the estate of James Hassell deceased was returned to court by the administrator on oath amounting to $189.30 ct & ordered filed.

October Session 1821

Ordered that Zebulon Tarkenton Richard Davis & B. W. Halsey be appointed to audite & settle the estate of James Hassell of Edwd. & make report to next term.

January Session 1822

Ordered that Zebulon Tarkenton Richard Davis Baldwin W. Halsey & John B. Beasley be appointed to audite & settle the estate of James Hassell of Ewd. & make report to the next term.

April Session 1822

Ordered that Zebulon Tarkenton John Marriner & W. B. Hodges be appointed to audite & settle the estate James Hassell deceased & make report to the next term.

July Session 1822

Report of auditors on the estate of James Hassell deceased was returned in open court with a ballance due the estate of $13.13 1/2 cents & filed.
