January Session 1808

Ordered that John A. Melson have leave of administration on the estate of William Hassell and has given bond in the sum of one thousand pounds Henry Alexander Esqr. and Joseph Pledger securities.

John A. Melson returned on oath an account of sales of the movable estate of William Hassell deceased in the amount of {blank}.

May Session 1808

John A. Melson returned in court on oath an inventory & account of sales of the estate of Wiliam Melson deceased also the inventory of the estate of William Hassell also the years allowance to the widdow of William deceased all filed.

August Session 1808

Ordered that Jno. A. Melson have the following persons appointed to audite the estate of William Hassell and Betsy Hassell to wit Thomas Garrett William Combs and John Alexander son of Michael.

November Session 1808

Paul Thoroughgood Esqr. returned in court the audited accounts between John A. Melson and William Hassell filed ballance due the estate 139 pounds, 11 shillings & 5 pence.
