In the name of God amen: The fifteenth day of January Anno Dom. 1766. Isaac Hassell being sick body but of good and perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncertain state of this transitory life and that flesh must yield unto death when it shall please God to call do constitute ordain and declare this my last Will and Testament Will and Wills heretofore by me made and declared either by word or wrighting and this is to be only for my last Will and Testament and none other and first being pennetant and sorry from the botom of my hart for my sins past most humbly desireing forgiveness of the same I give and commit my soul unto Almighty God my Saviour and Redeemer in whome and by the merits of Jesus Christ I must and believe assuredly to be saved and to have remision and forgiveness of all my sins that my body at the General Resurrection shall rise againe with joy and thro the merits of Jesus Christ death and passion possess and inherite the Kingdome of Heaven proposed for his elect and chosen and my body to be buried in such place where with it shall please my Executors hereafter named to appoint and now for the settling my temporal Estate and such goods chattels and debts as it hath please God far above my deserts to bestow upon me I order give and devise the same in manner and form following Viz.

I give and bequeath to my Brother Joseph Hassell the plantation whereon I begun to build with seventy five acres of land known by the name of Presilars Ridge to him and his heirs forever.

Item - I give and bequeath to my well beloved wife Rachel Hassell one disk and one horse knowe by the name of Felix and one bridle and saddle.

Item - I give and bequeath to my dear beloved Mother Rachell Hassell one saml gun for the use of her house.

Item - I give and bequesth to my Brother Joseph Hassell all my part of the Juniper Swamp to him and his heirs forever.

Item - I give and bequeath all my clouse to be ekuely divided between my the three Brothers John Hassell Joseph Hassell and Benjamin Hassell.

Item - I give and bequeath to my Brother Benjamin Hassell all my land lying and being on the North side Phelpes Swamp to him his heirs and assigns forever except my wife is now with child or should bring forth a child by me begotten to live it is my true intent to give and bequeath all my lands heretofore menshoned to that and its heirs forever and if that should dye without heir that child I give and bequeath the said lands as aforesaid.

Item - I give and bequeath all and every other part of my Estate to my well beloved wife Rachel Hassell.

Item - I do appoint and ordain my well beloved wife Rachel Hassell and my well beloved Brother Joseph Hassell to be my true and whole Executors.

Item - I give and bequeath all my lands lying and being between the afore said lands mentioned to my well beloved wifre Rachel Hassell and her heirs forever Given under my hand and seal this 15th. Day of Jany and in the year of our Lord 1766.

In the term of March anno Dom 1766 personally appeared Peter Wynne and made oath on the Holy Evangelists of allmighty God that saw and heard the within named Isaac Hassell sign & seal publish pronounce & declare this to be his last will & testament & further saith that at the time of signing he was of sound mind & disposing memory & at the same time he saw the other witnesses sign as witnesses
