April Session 1781

On motion of Mr. James Long that he have leave to administration on the estate of Mitelles Harvey deceased appearing no other craving the rite of administration granted.

Mr. James Long appeared in open court and quallified as administrator of the estate of Mitellas Harvey and gave in security Fryle Jones & Abraham Jennet in a bond of 50,000 pounds current money of N. Carolina.

Ordered that James Long sell the perishable part of the estate of Mitellas Harvey and make returns court.

July Session 1781

James Long returned into open court an inventory of the estate of Mitillas Harvey ordered to be filed.

James Long returned into open court on oath an account of sales of the estate of Mitillas Harvey ordered to be filed.

October Session 1781

James Long administrator on the estate of Metelles Harvey deceased produced the account of James Long ? two thousand one hundred and eighty pounds - John Lenning one thousand and eighty pounds also an account of Andrew Long fifteen pounds one shilling hard money towards the settlement of the estate of the above - ordered to be filed.

January Session 1782

Mr. James Long returns into open court on oath the acct. of Mihilles Hervey and there apears a ballance due the sd. Long in state currency of 867 pounds & 3 shillings and a ballanc in specie due to Mihilles Hervy 1 pound, 14 shillings & 2 pence ordered to be filed.
