In the name of God amen: This eight day of March seventeen hundred and sixty six I John Harrison of Tyrrel County and province afore'd being in sound mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed once for all men to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say first and principally I recommend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God that gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent Christain Buriel at the duretion of my Executors and as touching such worldly Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and bequeath in the manner and form following ---

Imprimis - Give Will and bequeath to my well beloved son Thomas my old Buckanear gun and my new Cuttlash ---

Item - I give Will and bequeath to my well beloved wife Elizabeth and singular the residue of my moveable Estate during the time of her widdowhood and after to be equally divided betwixt my other four children Mary Drusilla Susan and John ---

Item - My will is that Thomas Harrison Senr and Elizabeth my wife be my whole and sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoaking and disannulling and every other former Wills and Testaments in any ways by me before named ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written.

March Session 1766

Personally appeared William Harrison and on his corporal oath proved the last will and testament of John Harrison deeased and saith that he was of sound mind and memory and that he saw Everett Stubbs signed as a witness ordered that the clerk certify the same to the Secretary of the Province that letters may issue accordingly.

Personally appeared Elizabeth Harrison and Thomas Harrison executrix & executor mentioned in the last will and testament of John Harrison decease and qualified accordingly.
