I Eliza. B. Haughton do make and publish this my last will & testament as follows:

I give & bequeath to my daughter Sarah E. Haughton all my estate real & personal. The estate hereby bequeathed being especially the interest which my son Tippoo S. Haughton had in his fathers' estate and conveyed tome by deed bearing date July 22nd 1851 as a reference will fully appear but also all other property & estate that I may have or be in any way entitled to at the time of my death. The said property to go to the said daughter above named & to her heirs forever. And whom I herby appoint sole executrix to this will. In witness whereof I Eliza B. Haughton do hereto set my hand & seal on this the 29th day of January A D 1871.

Executed in the presence of
Edenton Jany 29th 1871. This paper writing was exhibited to us by Mrs. Eliza B. Haughton & published & declared to be & contain her last Will & Testament. She acknowledged the signature & the Will to be her act & deed & requested us to become the witnesses thereto. We therefore at the request & in the presence of each other do subscribe our names as witnesses this 29th of January A. D. 1871
