In the name of God Amen: I Henry Gibson being of sound mind and memory thanks be to God do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows.

lFist- I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Henry P. Gibson the tract of land I bought of Eby Phelps whereon I now live and one negro boy named Sam.

2Sd - I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Gibson all of the Meekins land on the south side of the main road & one negro man named Jo:

3th - I give and bequeath unto my son Thos. P. Gibson all of my Meekins land on the North side of the main road and one negro man named Merrick.

4th - I give and bequeath unto Mary Gibson wife of Thos. P. Gibson twenty five dollars to be paid her by my executor.

5th - I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Brickhouse wife of H. E. H. Brickhouse one negro woman named Ann & her child she now has, with all of there increase and on woman named Fan.

6th - I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Matilda Smithwick one negro girl named Ellen and one negro woman named Jain with all of their increase.

7th - I give and bequeath unto my two grand daughters Grazil & Dorcas children of Ludferd Cahoon one negro woman named Vilet and all of her increase

8th - I give and bequeath unto my two sons, Joseph Gibson and Thomas P. Gibson all of my land that lies between the tract of land I now live on and Sam Bryans they Can divide said land between themselves.

9th - I give and bequeath unto the children of my decd son John M. Gibson all of the tract of land they now live on & all of my Gum Neck land and feather bed and furniture.

l0th - I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Elizabeth Davis wife of John W. Davis one hundred and twenty five dollars to be paid her by my exr. out of the proceeds of my estate.

11th - I give unto my grand son Wilson Cahoon one horse mule named Jack.

12th - I give and bequeath unto Thomas P. Gibson, Joseph Gibson, Henry P. Gibson, Elizabeth Brickhouse Matilda Smithwick Wilson Cahoon & the children of My decd. Son John M. Gibson, they to heir the share of the farther all of my estate of every kind that is not already given away is to be sold by my executors at public sale and the proceeds to be equally divided among they last named heirs as they are severally named.

13th - I Constitute and ordain my son Henry P. Gibson my true and lawful executor to this my last will and testament.

The due execution of the within paper writing by Henry Gibson the testator as his last will and testament was proved in open court by the oath of Thos. H. Alexander & Katharen Etheridge the subscribing witness thereto ordered the same be recorded and filed at the same time Henry F. Gibson the executor there named appeared was duly qualified by taking the oath prescribed by law for executors.
