June Session 1767

Read the petition of Isaac Devenport praying administration on the estate of Levi Devenport deceased ordered granted & enters John Snell & Roger Snell securities in the sum of fifty pounds which is by the court approved of

Isaac Devenport exhibited an inventory of the estate of Levi Devenport deceased & proved the same on his oath ordered filed.

On motion of Isaac Devenport praying an order of sale of the estate of Levi Devenport deceased ordered that he sell the sd. estate and make return to our next court.

September Session 1767

On motion of Isaac Devenport to sell the perishable estate of Levi Devenport deceased ordered that the sheriff sell so much as shall be sufficient to pay the dbts of the deceased & make return to our next court.

December Session 1767

Andrew Long exhibited an account of sales of the goods & chattells of Levi Devenport deceased the amount 30 pounds, 14 shillings & 7 pence and proved the same by his oath ordered to be filed.

November Session 1768

Andrew Long exhibited an account of sales of part of the estate of Levi Davenport and proved the same on his oath ordered to be filed.

May Session 1769

Isaac Devenport exhibited his account current with the estate of Levi Devenport deceased and proved the same on his oath ordered allowed and filed.

On motion of Mr. Wyriot Ormond attorney in behalf of Elizabeth Devenport for a division of the estate of Levi Devenport deceased ordered that Joseph Spruill Esqr., Joseph Devenport, Giles Long Esqr. & John Swain divide the same and make return at our next court.
