June Session 1767

Read ye petition of Elizabeth Devenport praying administration on the estate of Isaac Devenport deceased. Granted she entering Roger Snell & Isaac Devenport securities in the sum of two hundred pounds who are approved of by the court.

On motion of Elizabeth Devenport administrix of Isaac Devenport deceased for leave to sell the perishable estate of sd. Isaac Devenport; granted and ordered that she make return to our next court.

May Session 1768

Ordered that Elizabeth Devenport administratrix of Isaac Devenport sell the perishable estate of the said Isaac Devenport deceased sufficient to pay the debts of sd. deceased and make their return to the next court.

November Session 1768

Andrew Long exhibited an account of sales of the estate of Isaac Devenport and proved the same on his oath ordered to be filed.

Read the petition of Elizabeth Devenport praying an order of sale of the estate of Isaac Devenport deceased &c ordered that she sell so much of the perishable estate of the sd. Isaac Devenport as will be sufficient to pay the dbs due from the sd. deceased.

February Session 1769

Peter Wynne exhibited an account of sale of the estate of Isaac Devenport and proved the same on his oath ordered to be filed.

Read the petition of Elizabeth Devenport praying to be appointed guardain of her children Joel Devenport, John Devenport, Elizabeth Devenport & Francis Devenport &c ordered that she be guardain of the sd. four children orphans of Isaac Devenport deceased & enters John Swain & Anthoney Alexander in the sum of 800 pounds who are approved of by the court.

Personally appeared Elizabeth Davenport John Snell & Anthoney Alexander securities for the guardinship of the orphans of Isaac Davenport acknowledged their bond & it was ordered to be recorded & filed.

On motion of Elizabeth Davenport for a division of the estate of Isaac Davenport deceased ordered granted that John Hooker Esq. Joshua Swain John Swain and Edward Phelps Thomas Learey or any three of them divide the estate of Isaac Davenport deceased and make return to the next court.

May Session 1769

Thomas Learey exhibited a division of the estate of Isaac Devenport deceased ordered to be filed.

January Session 1786

Elizabeth Devenport widow of Isaac Devenport prays that her right of dower of land may be layed off granted and that David Devenport John Devenport & James Devenport lay off the same and make report to next court.

April Session 1786

Return one third of Isaac Devenport deceased lands being laid off agreeable to a former return to Elizabeth Devenport widow of the said Isaac alloting to her dower under a late act of assembly.
