March Session 1765

On motion John Devenport praying administration on the estate of John Devenport deceased; ordered that the clerk certify the same to the Secretary of this Province that letters of administration issue accordingly giving 500 pounds security John Devenport and John Norman securities.

June Sesion 1765

Personally appeared John Devenport exhibited & proved the inventory of the estate of John Devenport deceased ordered filed.

June Session 1766

Read the petition of John Devenport praying an order for sales of the perishable part of the estate of John Devenport deceased ordered granted according to the prayer of the petition.

September Session 1766

Giles Long exhibited an account of sales of the estate of John Devenport deceased and proved the same on his oath ordered filed.

June Session 1767

On motion of John Devenport praying an order to sell the perishable estate of John Devenport deceased granted and that he make return to the next court.

September Session 1767

Hezikeah Devenport aged about five year of age orphan of John Davenport is ordered to be bound unto Hezikeah Spruill an apprentice to learn the trade of a cooper.

Joshua Devenport orphan of John Devenport deceased be put and bound an apprentice to John Marriner to learn art & mistary of a carpenter he being about seven years of age.

Andrew Long exhibited an account of sales of the estate of John Devenport & proved the same on his oath ordered filed and recorded.
